We have three main priorities right now: 1) continue to serve as the champion for and support local business, 2) provide timely resources for employers and employees, and 3) continue to deliver value and stay the course. Our guiding principle in situations like this is to focus on where we’ll be afterwards as a business community.

As our community responds to the spread of COVID-19, the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce wants businesses to be able to implement strategies to protect their workforce while ensuring continuity of operations.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses.
