The Metrocrest Area Chamber is an Economic Development organization focusing on existing business and community development issues and collaborates with the cities of Addison, Carrollton and Farmers Branch to develop and implement initiatives that contribute to the enhancement of the local economy. Through our partnership with the three cities and in cooperation with their own economic development departments, many activities are conducted to stimulate business activity in the area.

The name Metrocrest originated when Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch sat at the northern crest of the Dallas metropolitan area. As North Texas has grown rapidly northward, the Metrocrest region has become something even more powerful: a centrally located business hub within the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
Today, Metrocrest sits at the intersection of growth, talent, infrastructure, and opportunity. Its central location provides businesses with direct access to major transportation corridors, a large and diverse workforce, regional customers, and key economic centers across North Texas.
